BioSurface Peel features a four step exfolient system which addresses skin roughness and the appearance of fine lines. It helps to treat hyper pigmentation pseudofolliculitis (razor bumps) and acneic inflammation without causing post peel redness. Formulated with the most progressive technology to minimise recovery time, whilst still attaining exceptional results. This peel is a biologically active, biphasic peel that will slough away dull epidermal layers as well as the dermal-epidermal interface, without being so tough as to damage and cause side effects.
The application process
A patch test is required 48 hours prior to first appointment. The initial prep step featuring Salicylic acid, followed by an application of Enzyme Active(-) containing 83% total enzyme solution of Pumkin Fruit enzymes with Papain, Protease and Aminopeptidase enzymes. The next step uses an application of Acid Active(+) consisting of Salicylic acid, Lactic acid, bran-derived Phytic acid and Sugar Cane extracts, which brightens hyper pigmentation, helps remove impaction plugs in follicles especially in sebaceous glands, and aid in cell turnover. Finally, the De-celerator slows the activity of the acids and normalises the epidermis, while calming and comforting the skin and initiating the process of skin repair and generating collagen, resulting in a smoother more youthful appearance. The depth of the peel is determined by the amount of chemical agent used. It is suitable for even a sensitive skin.
